What is Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles?
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles was released in November 2007 in the United States for the Nintendo Wii video game console. The game focuses on the ties the Umbrella Chronicles has in previous games. During the game, you play in three separate game atmospheres: Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. During game play, you take control of characters from the franchise, such as Albert Wesker, Claire Redfield, Rebecca Chambers and a few surprises thrown in. Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles will be the 2009 follow-up to Umbrella Chronicles.
Why is RE: Umbrella Chronicles a solid game?
The most amazing aspect of Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles is the interactive game play. During each level, you not only have to survive by making your way through hordes of zombies, you also have to find ammo, defense sprays and unlockable content. By finding the latter, you can gain access to documents and other content from the three games UC chronicles. Some of this content is directly from other games and some of it is new and unreleased from the same timelines. As you play through these levels, you gain a rank that lets you know how well you are doing. Depending on how you are playing, how many kills you have and more, your rank increases and new levels open up for you.
Is playing Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles worth it?
If there is one game to buy for the Nintendo Wii currently out, it is Resident Evil: UC. This game is one of the most amazing first person shooters for the Wii. There are different skill levels, so as you progress, you can play through levels again at a higher setting to see how you hold up against the zombie apocalypse playing out in front of you. As you make it through levels, and open up new ones, you can always go back and find things you missed and play as characters you did not in your first run through. The Darkside Chronicles, the sequel to Umbrella Chronicles, promises to bring everything that made this game amazing and surpass it.
