Car stereo speakers are the second most important aspect of the car stereo system.  Without the right speakers, even the best head unit will sound horrible.  Couple a good head unit, even better speakers and a reliable subwoofer and amplifier, and you will have the best car stereo system on the block.  Taking the time to find the right speakers and why they are important is key to building your system.

Speakers take electrical signals and turn them into sound. Loudspeakers are the most common form of speaker, but the idea is designed to be used in smaller units found in cars. Each car comes with speakers built-in to the design. When you purchase your car, you can opt to upgrade or change the car stereo options in most purchases now. However, if you stick with what comes with the car you may want to change things up down the line. While you generally will replace those speakers with another model when upgrading, you can also rewire the system to install new speakers where you choose depending on the car.

Car stereo speakers come in a vast array of size and types. Before you decide to buy new speakers or replace the ones you already have, you want to make sure you know the sizes you need. You can get this by measuring the speakers in your car or referring to your owner's manual. The size of your speaker can determine the type of sound quality you are projecting in your car depending on the design.

When buying car stereo speakers, you want to make sure that they go well with your head unit and the rest of your system.  This can be done by involving a professional installer in the process and making sure you are getting the most out of your speakers and your system.  If you are investing in new speakers for your car, make sure you are investing in the entirety of your car stereo system.  Otherwise, you are letting good components going to waste.
