For any MP3 player, finding the right armband case can be downright frustrating.  Since every upper arm is different, it may take some trial and error to find the right fit.  Most armband cases come made for specific MP3 players, but you may find another type that works for your device and your arm.  Once you narrow down the right one, you want to make the purchase and try it out yourself.  Most stores do not allow you try out something without purchasing it, which means you may have to shell out some money before finding the right one.

Take the time to do this.  First, look at the armbands specified for the MP3 player you purchased.  From there, you want to decide what is more important: Aesthetics, security or accessibility.  Aesthetics refers to the look and feel of the armband.  Security refers to how it is affixes to your arm and how safely it holds your device.  Accessibility refers to your ability to access the device while it is affixed to your upper arm.  This gives you control over the unit and what you listen to while on the go.

Security should be your priority, because if the armband does not fit securely, it can cause damage to your device.  If you are running, for example, and the MP3 player is flopping around, you may find your unit falling to the ground and being destroyed.  Thus, you want to find the right armband that is securely affixed to your arm with your device safely in place no matter what activity you are taking part in. From there, focus on the accessibility.  If you have preset playlists, this should be easy; if not, then you want to make sure you can change songs, albums and more on the go without taking the MP3 player out of the armband.

Aesthetics should always be the last thing to worry about when picking the right armband case.  While this may be important to you, if you choose aesthetics over accessibility and security, you may find your device falling out of the armband and broken over the time.  In this case, quality should be the priority when choosing the armband case for your MP3 player.
